Information We Collect
1) Contact Form Submissions
When you submit the contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your organisation name, if you give one
- Where your project is starting from (one selected option)
- Your message
Every field except organisation is required to submit the form. The submission is delivered to us as an email; we do not store it in a separate database. This information is provided by you and is used only to respond to your enquiry.
2) Server Logs
Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request — including IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent — in order to serve the site securely and to detect abuse. We do not use any analytics, tracking or session-recording tools on this website.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to and manage your enquiry.
- To keep our website available, secure, and free from abuse.
We do not sell or rent your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Legal Basis (UK/EU GDPR)
- Contact form submissions — our legitimate interests in responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send us, and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Server logs — our legitimate interests in keeping the site available and secure.
Who We Share It With
We use the following service providers, who process personal data on our behalf under contract:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and content delivery (server logs, IP addresses)
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivery of contact form submissions to our inbox
We may also disclose personal data where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International Transfers
Some of the providers listed above are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another safeguard permitted under Article 46 UK GDPR.
Data Storage & Security
- Contact form submissions are stored in our email system and internal records.
- We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data Retention
- Contact form enquiries — kept for up to 24 months from our last correspondence with you, then deleted. If you go on to become a client, your details are kept as part of our client records for 6 years after the end of the engagement, to meet our tax and contractual record-keeping obligations.
- Server logs — retained by our hosting provider for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Your Rights
If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Restrict or object to processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Receive your data in a portable format, where processing is based on consent or contract
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
